From the home screen, tap the “+” button to open the wizard. You'll go through four quick steps: name, icon and color, frequency, and an optional reminder. Tap “Finish” on the last step and your habit appears in the list.

No. Habi is intentionally offline-first and privacy-first — your habits live only on the device where you created them. There are no accounts, no cloud sync, and no third-party servers involved.

Open your phone's Settings app and make sure Habi is allowed to send notifications: on iOS, go to Notifications → Habi; on Android, look for App info → Habi → Notifications. Then check that the habit you want a reminder for has a reminder time configured (you can verify this in the habit's detail screen).

Habi supports two kinds of reminders. Per-habit reminders fire at the specific time you set when creating or editing a habit. Daily nudges are gentle, organic notifications that appear at most once a day, only if you have pending habits — they never spam you.

All data is stored locally on your device using a private database — nothing leaves your phone. To delete everything, just uninstall the app: there is no server-side data to remove.

Habi supports 20 languages, including English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean, Arabic, and more. The app uses your device's language automatically.

Habi collects fully anonymous usage events (such as screen views and habit creation events) for analytics. It never collects your habit names, notes, completion timestamps, email, name, or any personally identifiable information. See our privacy policy for details.
